End of the Year Reflection

This year, fifth grade was a lot of fun, but a lot of things changed from fourth grade. Things were harder, but the system made learning a lot easier. Last year, we had iPads, but most of the time we didn’t use them and this year their more useful.
My favorite PBL was probably the West Nile Virus PBL because we got to get more devolved in our learning and we got to go over too the high school. When we were at the high school, I liked how we had buddies and we got to do a lot of stuff outside and actually get a breath of fresh air and learn a lot of new plants.
My favorite memory of this year was when I finally got to meet all of my great teachers. That might not seem as part of my school year, but it still counts.

What I Learned From NASA Call

The first thing I learned is that Curiosity is the size of a mini van, but it is very slow. It’s size gives it plenty of accessibility for what it needs mechanical wise.
The second thing I learned is that Curiosity has only traveled 2,312 feet since it landed on mars on August 6, 2012.
Gale Crater could have been formed by wind or water, but scientists most likely believe that there was a lake in the center of Gale Crater that dried up and left the crater.
